Supporting Literacy
On behalf of Literacy Volunteers of Marion County (LVMC), welcome to the Run to Read Races site!
We hold two races throughout the year to raise funds for LVMC and provide the community with healthy athletic events.The half marathon is the second Saturday in January at beautiful Prickett's Fort.
Our 5K/10K was held at 12th Street Pool in Fairmont, WV on the last Friday in July.
2024 was the final 5K/10K. In 2025 it was replaced with a 2-mile run hosted by Carpenter Race Services.
